Years ago the planet Onyx was discovered. It was rich in mineral deposits and had an environment highly similar to that of Earth. Twelve years ago, Camp Curahee was built, and the Spartan III program began. Soon after a team of recruits disappeared on a mountain. That mountain was dubbed Section 67.
Three years ago a young Beta was dared to enter the restricted section and find the so called Ghost of Onyx. He was brash, reckless, and said exactly what was on his mind. No one knows what happened on the mountain, but when he came down he was shaken, and he never spoke agaain.
His name is Aiden, and he eyes you caustiously, his MA5K held at the ready. His emerald eyes look haunted and mistrustful, his auburn hair shorn close to his skull. His hand flashes, making the Spartan Smile as you're identified as a friendly.
Aside from the usual Spartan enhancements, Aiden's relatively unremarkable. He specializes in nothing combat related, he's a master at communication. Even though he doesn't speak himself, he can understand and write in 25 Earth languages, and has a very basic grasp of Elite.
His weapon of choice is the Covenent Beam Rifle, though he never uses it correctly. Generally, he holds at his side and fires it like slow fire Tommy gun.
